Sky Themed Nursery Decor

The sky is one of the most awe inspiring sites that there is, poets write about its grandure. Typically when one thinks of it they think of bright blue, and this is indeed a cheerful sort of sky, one which promts us to comment on how nice the day is. In your child's nursery or for older children this could be a good way to paint the room blue while keeping it psychologically cheerful. (while a baby might not understand the blue sky you will and your cheerfulness is after all more important to the babies mood then the color of the room).
Decorating with the sky however does not have to mean blue, the sky can also have pinks and oranges, these could in fact combine up into a bluer top half of the walls, with the mixed grey in the middle. Like a sun rise, a new life and a new day. Combining this with the beuatiful art done for nursery walls of baloons, bird, and airplanes and you can create perhaps one of the most unique rooms available.

I would recomend that in the case of a sky room you keep your blues and pinks fairly muted, lighter near white colors can give the emotional effect of the sunset or sky without having to worrry about having the colors overwhelm you baby.

Sky themes in general are able to last beyond the nursery well into your kids older years. Though many of the ideas that I offer here have that ability it is none the less an important consideration when determining what to create for the baby nursery, because in only a short while it will no longer be the babies room, they will have grown up.
