Children's Books and or Fairy Tales in your Nursery Decor
Fairy tales have been with us for a long time, they are the stories people felt were worth remmembering, sometimes for hundreds of years, they are the stories on which many of the greatest stories for children are based. It makes sense then to decorate your the baby nursery with these pictures, the pictures and art of the fairy tale is interesting enough for your baby to remain entertained and transfixed into toddlerhood and beyond. In the fairy tale there are a number of aspects which you could use to decorate your babies nursery, I would recommend that you use decorations based off of newer altered versions rather then the ones altered by the Brothers Grimm, (yes they altered them some greatly so in most cases you have the choice between versions as opposed to the origninal). The reason newer altered versions are better is that they often leave out many of the aspects that made the orignial fairy tales objectionable to many people, and many of the works of cute art created for children's books are to this theme. In fairy tales you have many sub-themes from castles to magical places, and woodlands. Where difficulties could be overcome for great rewards, where all things where made even. As a place of wonder the fairy tale world is a wonderful choice for the nursery decorations. One of the biggest advantages to the fairy tale theme is that a lot of cute art has been created for this theme. Children's books are of course books who's art has been created specifically with children in mind. These are wonderful for decorating a room with. Illustrators tend to have certian elements and themes which can be used to establish wonderful nursery decor.
